My fear of snakes isn't quite as intense as my mom's, (mostly due to a childhood prank by her mischievous older brother involving a dead garden snake and a door handle--Uncle Bob, you were a demon!), but I can promise that you won't find me with a python around my neck a la Britney anytime soon. I' may never have the real thing in my home, but here are a few stylishly slithering pieces I wouldn't mind welcoming in.
What do you think? Will it take a snake charmer for you to get in on the trend?
I have always loved snakeskin and most animal prints...they are timeless to me even if they are currently in "style!" I posted yesterday about my finds at Brunschwig & Fils warehouse sale...on of my finds was textile that looks like snakeskin...it is so fab in person!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those sconces. I have that python tray and it looks SO chic in any room in the house - I move it around from my bathroom to my desk to my entryway console often!
ReplyDeleteThe python tray is an all-time fave of mine, and the sconces are so glam! My father kept shells (is that what you call 'em?) shed by snakes in his orchard for years--- trying to scare guests, as it no longer worked on us ;)
ReplyDeleteI am terrified of snakes, but those sconces are fabulous. Super chic.
ReplyDeleteI can't even look at pictures of snakes without shuddering but I agree with Casa Bella, those sconces are pretty amazing but I probably still couldn't handle them.
ReplyDeletelove all those snake items- I think the sconces might be my favorite- they are really fun looking
ReplyDeletei have that little tray in my bathroom! i love it!
