Sail Away

I'm on a quest to find the perfect striped bateau neck tee for spring. So far it looks like Calypso and Peter Beaton are in the lead. I know this might be a little premature considering our furry friend the groundhog has doomed us to six more weeks of winter, but I can't help but think of brighter days ahead!

P.S I bet this exhibit at le Musee National de la Marine was ahh-mazing. What I would have given to be in Paris last summer!

Nautical inspired frocks by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Swoon...

  1. I've been wearing stripes nonstop lately. I found an amazing tee at Anthro for $10 a few weeks ago! I also have a Calypso one that's lasted for years - love it.

    Happy hunting!

  4. I have been drooling over the LV Alma for months now. I keep telling myself I want to save up for it but something always seems to distract me!

  8. Oh, I love this post! I have been obsessed with these breezy french sailor shirts for sometime, and have even done at least on Sunday Style post on them as well. Here is what I found: The Calypso one, while the most authentic was too boxy for me. Petit Bateau makes awesome ones, JCrew is pretty good, and I love my Splendid one the most. Good Luck!
