I was saddened today to learn that J.D Salinger, the author of one of my all time favorite books The Catcher in the Rye, passed away. Below is one of my favorite quotes from the book. Troubled as he may have been, I will always be thankful to Salinger for bringing us the character of Holden Caulfield and all his escapades.

ReplyDeleteHe lived a full life on his on terms, even if it meant being away from the world in many ways. I'm so thankful for the art he left us with for generations to enjoy!
